Not much visible progress has been made on the bathroom/mudroom renovation, as Bobby has spent the last few weeks repairing some more plumbing issues that arose; however, the tiles we ordered came in and are sitting in boxes waiting to be placed.
We chose industrial floor tiles, mainly because they're inexpensive (83cents a sq.ft.) and easy to install. Home Depot has a rainbow of colors one can special order, so after flipping through tiny one inch samples to make a decision, we settled on a green/blue combination. Totally not what I had in mind when I entered the store, but an impulsive decision I think will add some fun in the dark bathroom attached to our brightly colored kitchen.
And instead of applying them in checkerboard fashion, I'd like to try stripes. I feel a mood board forming soon, don't you?
