project: sell this house – progress report

We are getting so close, folks. Remember the last time you saw it? Just some nail holes to fill and a coat of decorator white on the wainscoting and we're in business. After that, party at our house.

I impulsively painted the pocket door the color I purchased to coat the mirror frame and I couldn't be more pleased (it actually doesn't look very good on the frame). The paint used was Martha Stewart in persimmon red and is available at Home Depot. It's a coral but is a little more pink than I would have liked.

Oh, well. I love this room. And Project: Sell This House is starting to turn into Project: Love the House You're In. It's so us...I can't imagine being anywhere else.

Was that pocket door always there? Or did you install that? I love everything here...the stripes, the colors, the boots :)

The wall had to be demolished and rebuilt, so we installed a pocket door. The two rooms were three steps down from our kitchen and now they share the same level.

Thanks, Richelle. The colors make me so happy, too.

Side note: can't wait to install a shoe cabinet and fun lighting

I love this post!! I often find myself looking for some"Thing" to make me happy, instead of looking inward and just BEING happy! THanks Cassie I love reading your blog!
