a brief summary of the last couple months

Oh, Instagram - you've been such a bad influence on my blogging. Since you entered my life, my SLR has felt neglected and has started complaining about only being used for pancakes. But you wooed me with your accessibility and fancy filters, even though your resolution can't compare. So dear blog, here's what has been happening between me and my new mistress:
 

Chincoteague and Assateague were sufficiently explored. Three weekends in a row.



Objects were painted.



Quilts were made. Assistants were paid in belly rubs.



Hair was cut and a bathroom renovation nearly completed.



And other weirdness happened. As usual.
