A sneak peak at what we are planning for Avery's Neverland fourth birthday party.
I'm trying REALLY, REALLY hard not to go overboard this year and actually FORCED myself to buy Jake & the Neverland Pirates themed paper cups from Party City - even though they don't match the classic Peter Pan theme and color palette! Ha - first world problems, I know!
We've been experiencing some major behavioral issues with Avery lately and have resorted to threats of canceling the party if he doesn't drastically improve. Oh yes, I will. So plans of cutting tissue and making another pinata this year have been replaced with buying cheap crap from the local party store, where at least I can return the items if I keep my receipt.
But, we'll see. After pacing the aisles at two stores for hours last night with only a sleeve of party cups to show for it, I've realized I have some major behavioral control issues I need to overcome, too.
